FAQ's
- Why should I buy your flowers?
You will be getting the freshest flowers you can find - picked just the day before. We have some unique and hard to find blooms as well as old fashioned favourites. You will be supporting local growers and the hardwork that goes into producing cut flowers.
- How do I register as a florist?
Email us [email protected] with your name and NZ florist registration number.
- I'm a florist wanting to pre order for an event, can I do that?
Yes you can preorder directly from each individual grower from the weekly availability list that is emailed out early Tuesday morning. But the best flowers are still to be found if you can arrive at the start of the market.
- How does it work?
Bring along a bucket for you to put your blooms in (there is water here you can fill them up). Browse the market before you decide the flowers you want to buy. Each individual grower displays their prices and you can buy individual 5 or 10 stem bunches of each flower variety. Purchase your favourite blooms and put them in the bucket to happily transport them home and enjoy!
- Do I need to bring cash?
Each grower has different ways you can pay but everyone has the option of bank transfer, cash and some have Eftpos so in short no, you don't need to bring cash to purchase.
Do you do DIY weddings?
- We don't offer this as a package/ service but you are welcome to come and look at our market in advance of your celebration, talk to the individual growers and see what flowers we grow/what might be available. However we can't guarantee specific varieties will be available months in advance, rather we suggest you choose a colour palette/theme and find flowers in those colours. Let your creativity guide you!

- I'm a florist from out of town but doing an event in the Bay, can I buy from you?
Absolutely - send us an email and we can send you our availability list.
